Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
At this time, I am sorry that I can’t be with you in person. Orange County has recommended against all public gatherings through March 31st, , so we will not be able to continue our Wednesday evening Lent services or have Sunday worship the rest of March. We will plan on joining together again on Palm Sunday. But I want you to know that the Elders, other leaders, your fellow members of Bethel and I will be praying for you; if you need to contact me or any of our Elders by phone, please feel
free to call.
Also, our young adults are offering to do shopping for anyone who needs it; it looks like they will carry on the work of the church for the next two weeks. (While public gatherings are restricted,
going out to grocery stores, drug stores, et al., has not been curtailed.)
During this difficult time, I ask all of you to remember that Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled. You Trust in God. Trust also in me.” Jesus also said, “I have said this to you, that in me
you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
May Our Good Lord give you good cheer in this difficult time. May He fill you with the peace that only He can give. May He watch over you and keep you in His care as you trust in His Precious Promises.
Love and Grace,
Pastor Phil and Mary Sipes
